Good old D.R. Horton, "America's Builder", is at it again. We recently filed suit regarding a home in Lafayette, Louisiana area.  The homeowner purchased his house from a prior owner.  DRH and their HVAC company, Bell Mechanical, made "repairs" to our client's home and created even more problems.  Even though our client didn't purchase the house from DRH, DRH is trying to enforce an arbitration clause that they sneak in on folks that buy from them.  Instead of simply answering the petition for damages, DRH filed pleadings to delay the proceedings so that they can argue and try to enforce contract terms our client has NEVER seen.
